About Everett
Hello, my name is Everett Sawyer and I am one of the Project Managers here at Metal Tech. Before coming to Metal Tech I attended East Carolina University where I obtained a Bachelor of Science Degree in Industrial Engineering Technology. While attending ECU the summer between my junior and senior year I came to Metal Tech as an intern where I worked in the drafting department. In this role, I did a lot of the drawings used by our technicians. I returned after my senior year as an assistant project manager where I learned the role of being a project manager, from the initial quoting process, material procurement, and then on to managing the project through completion. I would later be moved into the project manager role where I reside today. I feel that my specialty here at Metal Tech is large fabrication projects where parts and structures are built here at our shop and then delivered to our customers.
What Do you Like Most about your work at Metal Tech?
I like that every day I come to work I get to do something different. One day I will be drawing something that needs to be built, the next I could be out in the field with a customer looking at projects that are up and coming.
What are your favorite hobbies?
I enjoy spending my free time outdoors, hunting, fishing, and playing golf.
What is one thing people would be surprised to know about you?
I really enjoy learning about history.
